......apart from the Sonic Youth gigs, the Throwing Muses gigs, Hole, Babes in Toyland, all in London.....from March 1992 on, my mail was coming in through the door with a chunk ripped off the top left-hand corner......Robin Ramsay, of Lobster magazine, had allowed me to read, amongst others, an old man's story of trouble while he stayed in Dargle Cottage, from 1983 to May 1984......forced out in a highly unpleasant manner, from that home near Biddenden, in the English county of Kent......I returned home to Edinburgh, from Humberside where I'd been meeting Robin......happened to mention "this Biddenden thing" to an ex-sailor with the Royal Navy.....in Edinburgh.....and he took a terrible fright at the mention of it.
One wonders how many stories there are to find out about? None of you reading this will have heard of Dargle Cottage......very few......yet, after I'd contacted this old man who had left his 100-page story with Robin Ramsay......all my mail was demonstratively ripped open, probably a bit of MI5 terrorism.....
